Managing head lice is an unpleasant but critical task for any family. It is our practice as a school, to notify parents/guardians when head lice is identified. We expect families to treat the hair with an appropriate pharmaceutical shampoo before the child returns to school. It is important to also remove the remaining nits (lice eggs) manually as the shampoo is only effective for live lice.
